Ken Jeans, PENG. - Managing Director

Ken's experience includes over 20 years of exemplary operator and service provider experience in North America and internationally.  He has proven to be a valuable strategic resource on enterprise wide initiatives resulting in meeting key compliance and safety objectives and his experience spans across several fields with a heavy technical focus on risk management, asset integrity management, and program initiation.

Prior to starting TIMS, Ken served as Vice President of Asset Integrity for another industry service provider building its practice from ground zero.  He also served several positions at Spectra Energy including Director of the Project Management Office during Spectra’s most aggressive capital growth period, Manager of Risk Management, and Principal of Pipeline Integrity.  Other notable assignments include managing Union Gas’ Pipeline Engineering Department and being a founding member of Southern California Gas Company’s Pipeline Integrity Program.

Ken received an Honors Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.  Ken is a regular speaker on industry events involving asset integrity and risk, and he has served on various national technical code committees such as the Canadian Standards Association Z662 Oil & Gas Pipeline Systems.

 

CURTIS WILLIAMS - MANAGING DIRECTOR

Curtis Williams has 20 years experience developing and managing large-scale asset information management and records governance projects for the utility, midstream and downstream energy industries. He has proven to be a strategic resource on enterprise wide initiatives designed to manage risk, demonstrate compliance, and extend the useful lives of assets.

Prior to joining TIMS, Curtis served as Vice President of Data & Records Management for another industry service provider.  He worked with operators to design projects that assured clean, complete and traceable data was the basis for critical safety, integrity and compliance business processes.

Curtis also served several positions at El Paso Energy; leading GIS data conversion and records governance projects resulting from four major pipeline company acquisitions.  These efforts required the creation integration standards and workflows to operationalize acquired data and records.

Curtis has experience assessing and benchmarking asset information management systems to support business case materials for data and records improvement projects.  He can facilitate business process mapping work sessions while preparing communication deliverables to align expectations and promote business effectiveness and efficiency.

Curtis earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate from Aveta Business Institute.
